WELD 2006 - Welding Code Interpretation

This emphasis of this course covers information and interpretation of American Welding Society (AWS) D1.1 Welding Code. American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section IX and American Petroleum Institute (API) Standard 1104 are covered briefly. Welding procedure qualification, welder performance qualification, and extent of welder qualification are examined and developed. Joint design, inspection and testing of welds, welding variables will also be covered.
