TURF 1270 - Supervised Occupational Experience

The Golf Course and Turfgrass Management Supervised Occupational Experience (SOE) provides an opportunity for students to apply and integrate classroom and laboratory knowledge to actual work situations. The intent of the SOE is to provide a supervised work experience in order for students to build their expertise and proficiency with turf and grounds skills as well as enhance their own problem-solving abilities. The SOE structure allows for students to interact in at least one student-employer seminar.
