ETEC 1202 - Solid State Electronic Devices 5 Credit(s) 4 credits lecture/1 credit lab
Solid State Electronic Devices cover both discrete devices, as well as integrated circuits. This course introduces fundamentals of solid state electronic device operation and circuit applications, applying them to constructing and troubleshooting circuits in lab. The lab component emphasizes device identification, circuit wiring and testing, test equipment use, and documentation. Both switching and linear modes of solid state electronic device operation will be explored. Troubleshooting techniques are implemented throughout the course.
