ENGL 2110 - Literature and the Environment 3 Credit(s) 3 credits lecture/0 credits lab
This college literature course offers students the opportunity to analyze texts that explore the relationship between humans and their environments. Possible topics include ecocriticism, sustainability, urban nature, the role of the natural world in literary imagination, and eco-literacy, and texts may include works of nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and popular culture. This course will provide experience with critical thinking and literary analysis as students examine perspectives, integrate evidence, and articulate responses through discussions, writings, and other activities. Students will be expected to read and write at the college level.
