Program Information
The 45 credit Paramedic program at Anoka Technical College exists to educate candidates to be able to successfully complete the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) cognitive and psychomotor exams and be competent entry-level employees.
The Diploma track of the paramedic is a fast-paced program. It is best for students to have at least 6 months of experience as an EMT in the prehospital environment prior to enrollment. This track should be viewed as full-time and a student’s ability to work full-time may be impacted by the course and clinical requirements.
