MATH 1090 - Math for Construction Estimation

This course is a combination of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. This course will cover solving mathematical problems involving fraction and decimal values, signed numbers, algebraic expressions and equations, graphs of linear functions, exponents, and unit analysis. In addition, this course will address problems utilizing right and non-right triangle trigonometry, plane geometry, and area and volume. Applications for construction estimation and architectural drafting will be emphasized.

Course Prerequisite(s): MATH 0801  with a C or higher or appropriate placement score
