This course focuses on special populations in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), such as pediatrics, geriatrics, obstetrics, labor and delivery, and patients with special healthcare needs. Focus on normal pathophysiology, common medical emergencies, and treatments for each of these populations will be explored.

Course Prerequisite(s): Admittance into the Paramedic Program.
