MAIN 2440 - Advanced Electrical Troubleshooting

This course continues to develop the basic concepts of electricity and Alternating Current (AC) circuits. Included are studies of magnetic induction, single phase AC series, parallel, and combination circuits. Inductance in single phase AC series, parallel circuits, phase relationships, power quality issues including power factor and harmonics, and the tools and terminology used to describe and diagnose these issues.

Course Prerequisite(s): MACH 1251 , MAIN 2310 MAIN 2330 , AND MAIN 2350
