TURF 1311 - Sports Turf Management

This course is designed to introduce students to the maintenance and construction of sports fields, with an emphasis on football and baseball fields. Topics discussed include turfgrass species and cultivar selection, fertilizer programs, drainage systems, overseeding, irrigation, field safety, design and construction of sports fields, and budget proposal planning.
