ITEC 2601 - Database Application Development 4 Credit(s) 3 credits lecture/1 credit lab
This course focuses on intermediate programming using development tools. The course will cover developing, compiling, deploying, and testing applications using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Applications that employ User Interfaces (UIs) for specific operating systems will be developed. The concept of using the debugger to troubleshoot errors will be examined. Developing applications using databases will be introduced. Database concepts will be examined in the context of application development. One or more programming projects will be implemented using agile practices. Documenting programming code, critiquing code, and providing feedback on code will be practiced.
Course Prerequisite(s): ITEC 1011 and ITEC 2600
